New Jersey High School Softball - High Point bounces Vernon
April 9, 2024: Sussex, NJ 07461 High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 8-0 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Morris County Tech for a NJAC - Freedom challenge on Thursday, April 11. High Point will battle a Devils squad coming off a 19-8 non-league win over Newark Tech (Newark, NJ). The Devils record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Vernon falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ) to battle the Cougars in a NJAC - Freedom challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Kittatinny Regional lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)
