The North Schuylkill Spartans baseball squad (Ashland, PA), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA)

With the triumph, Pottsville moves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Crimson Tide host Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 11. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Schuylkill Valley won 5-1 in their recent league contest against Berks Catholic (Reading, PA)

The Spartans now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tamaqua for a Schuylkill County 1 contest on Thursday, April 10. North Schuylkill will confront a Blue Raiders squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 8-1.
