Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), 14-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Mohave improves its record to 9-12 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Glendale (Glendale, AZ) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Friday, April 10. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 8-6. Glendale won 20-2 in their recent league game against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ)

The Marauders now hold a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Coconino for a 4A Grand Canyon game on Friday, April 10. Mingus will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 13-6.
