The Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) softball the visiting Columbus North Bull Dogs (Columbus, IN), 4-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Stars (11-9) will now prepare for their bout against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Panthers go into the Hoosier Hills bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Jennings County held off Seymour (Seymour, IN), 7-1, in a league bout.

The Bull Dogs now hold a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terre Haute North Vigo for a Conference Indiana contest on Friday, May 3.
