New Mexico High School Softball - Thoreau bounces Navajo Prep
May 1, 2024: Thoreau, NM 87323 The Thoreau Hawks routed the visiting Navajo Prep Eagles softball squad by a count of 18-4 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Hawks (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM). The Eagles go into the 3A District 1 battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Navajo Prep topped Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM), 17-15, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Thoreau for a 3A District 1 battle on Wednesday, May 1. Navajo Prep will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 3-12.
