New York High School Baseball - Edison wallops Springfield Gardens
May 1, 2025: Queens, NY 11432 The Edison baseball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Springfield Gardens Golden Eagles to 2 in the non-league win on Thursday.
The now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hillcrest for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Edison will play a Hawks team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Beach Channel (Rockaway Park, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 2-9.
With the defeat, Springfield Gardens drops to 1-8 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Van Buren (Queens Village, NY) to play the Vee Bees in a PSAL Queens - B South test on Monday, May 5. The Vee Bees go into the test with a record of 0-9. Van Buren lost 17-4 in their recent league test against Jamaica (Jamaica, NY)
