Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host St. George's Gryphons (Collierville, TN), 18-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Northpoint Christian improves its record to 21-4 on the year. The Trojans host University School of Jackson (Jackson, TN) to play the Bruins in a non-league game on Monday, May 5. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 11-6. University School of Jackson won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN)

The Gryphons now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian Academy for a non-league game on Friday, May 2. St. George's will play a Lions squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Harding Academy (Memphis, TN). The Lions record now stands at 9-10.
