Virginia High School Softball - Buckingham bounces Nottoway
May 10, 2022: Buckingham, VA 23921 Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA), 5-0 in a league challenge.
The Knights now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amelia County for a James River challenge on Wednesday, May 11.
With the loss, Nottoway falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA) to battle the Eagles in a James River challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Prince Edward County lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA)
