Virginia High School Softball - Buckingham bounces Lunenburg Central
May 17, 2022: Buckingham, VA 23921 The Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) softball routed the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), 11-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Knights (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes go into the James River bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Cumberland was routed by Bluestone (Skipwith, VA), 8-6, in a league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Amelia County for a James River bout on Wednesday, May 18. Lunenburg Central will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-7.
