Niles Vikings (Niles, MI) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), 7-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Niles moves its record to 18-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI) to battle the Red Wolves in a Wolverine B match on Tuesday, May 13. The Red Wolves come into the match with a record of 20-6. Paw Paw won 14-7 in their recent non-league match against Coloma (Coloma, MI)

The Mustangs now possess a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buchanan for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. Portage Central will battle a Bucks squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Mattawan (Mattawan, MI). The Bucks record now stands at 6-15.
