Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 7-0 in a league test.

With the win, Parkersburg upgrades its record to 13-15 on the season. The Big Reds travel to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to battle the Redskins in a Mountain State test on Friday, May 12. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 17-6. Hurricane won 7-2 in their recent league test against Ripley (Ripley, WV)

With the defeat, Ripley falls to 16-8 on the season.
