Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), 11-1 in a league test.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Vikings host Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 4-3.

With the defeat, Capital falls to 2-14 on the season. The Cougars travel to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to battle the Big Reds in a Mountain State test on Monday, May 1. The Big Reds come into the test with a record of 10-13. Parkersburg lost 13-3 in their recent league test against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
