In Thursday's league battle, the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

The Wildcats (17-13) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 27-5 record. In their last battle, Downers Grove South achieved victory over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley battle, on Tuesday, May 17. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 24-9 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 15-17 record after their 2-0 league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
