The Somers Spartans lacrosse team scored 20 points and limited the visiting Ellington Knights to 14 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Tolland (Tolland, CT). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 8-3 record.

The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Enfield (Enfield, CT). The Eagles enter the North Central Connecticut game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Enfield was overwhelmed by Tolland (Tolland, CT), 14-4, in a non-league game.
