The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Woodmore Wildcats to 3 in the Chieftains league win on Monday.

The Chieftains now hold a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arcadia for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Hopewell-Loudon will play a Redskins team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 7-12.

With the defeat, Woodmore drops to 15-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lake (Millbury, OH) to play the Flyers in a non-league test on Friday, May 16. The Flyers go into the test with a record of 14-5.
