The Steele Comets triumphed over the visiting Olmsted Falls Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 14. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record. The Polar Bears enter the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH).

The Bulldogs (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH). The Titans enter the Southwestern challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Berea-Midpark edged Westlake (Westlake, OH), 6-2, in a non-league challenge.
