Maryland High School Softball - Surrattsville bounces Largo
May 13, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD), 21-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Surrattsville will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Tigers record now stands at 18-6.
With the loss, Largo falls to 6-18 on the campaign.
