New York High School Softball - West Genesee bounces Rome Free Academy
May 13, 2024: Camillus, NY 13031 The West Genesee Wildcats routed the visiting Rome Free Academy Black Knights softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Auburn, NY). The Maroons go into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Auburn nudged East Syracuse-Minoa (East Syracuse, NY), 13-8, in a league battle.
The Black Knights now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a Section 3 Tri-Valley battle on Tuesday, May 14. Rome Free Academy will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Camden (Camden, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.
