Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 5-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Hermon moves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME) to confront the Eagles in a Class B North match on Thursday, May 15. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 5-3. Ellsworth won 7-0 in their recent league match against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME)

The Trojans now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bucksport for a non-league match on Friday, May 16. Mount Desert Island will confront a Golden Bucks squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 5-5.
