Connecticut High School Softball - Westhill falls to Stamford
May 14, 2022: Stamford, CT 06902 In Saturday's league outing, the host Stamford Black Knights softball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Westhill Vikings.
Coming up next, the Black Knights battle the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Fairfield County outing, on Monday, May 16. Stamford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the outing with a 1-12 record after their 26-0 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT).
The Vikings (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers enter the Fairfield County outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Ridgefield was routed by St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT), 9-5, in a league outing.
