April 12, 2022: Stamford, CT 06902 The Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) softball routed the host Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), 14-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Shelton notched a victory over Hillhouse (New Haven, CT), 21-1, in a non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Norwich Free Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 16. Westhill will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
