The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes baseball squad (Marion, VA), was overwhelmed 12-4 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA)

With the triumph, Richlands moves its record to 10-10 on the season. The Blue Tornado host Tazewell (Tazewell, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southwest contest on Monday, May 19. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 5-9. Tazewell lost 14-4 in their recent league contest against Lebanon (Lebanon, VA)

The Scarlet Hurricanes now possess a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham for a Southwest contest on Saturday, May 17. Marion will confront a G-Men squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The G-Men record now stands at 3-13.
