Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), 12-8 in a league game.

With the triumph, Dimond upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Lynx travel to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to play the Mustangs in a Cook Inlet game on Friday, May 15. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 4-0. Chugiak won 14-5 in their recent non-league game against Dimond (Anchorage, AK)

The Cougars now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Bartlett for a Cook Inlet game on Saturday, May 16. Service will play a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Colony (Palmer, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 6-3.
