Maine High School Softball - John Bapst Memorial can't hold off Ellsworth
May 16, 2022: Bangor, ME 04401 The Ellsworth Eagles softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders to 3 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Ellsworth moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Eagles host Washington Academy (East Machias, ME) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 18. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 3-7. Washington Academy won 9-8 in their recent league game against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME)
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a Class B North game, on Wednesday, May 18. John Bapst Memorial will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME).
