Maine High School Softball - Ellsworth can't hold off Mount Desert Island
June 1, 2022: Mount Desert, ME 04660 The Mount Desert Island Trojans softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Ellsworth Eagles to 2 in the Trojans league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Mount Desert Island improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to clash with the Ponies in a non-league game on Tuesday, June 7. The Ponies come into the game with a record of 3-11. Foxcroft Academy lost 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Dexter (Dexter, ME)
