Maine High School Softball - Mount Desert Island bounces Foxcroft Academy
June 7, 2022: Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) and the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), witnessed Mount Desert Island's softball squad overcome Foxcroft Academy by a final score of 11-1.
The Trojans (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Hermon notched a victory over Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Ponies now possess a 3-12 record.
