May 16, 2022: Turner, ME 04282 In Monday's league contest, the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME), by a score of 12-6.
Coming up next, the Hornets clash with the Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 18. Leavitt will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-11 record after their 10-0 league loss to Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME).
The Tigers (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Cony was routed by Waterville (Waterville, ME), 4-3, in a league test.
