Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), 11-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wake Forest upgrades its record to 22-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, May 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 24-2. New Hanover won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)

With the defeat, Hoggard falls to 17-9 on the season.
