Iowa High School Soccer - Tripoli toppled by Hudson
May 16, 2025: Tripoli, IA 50676 Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the host Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA), 13-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hudson advances its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA) to clash with the Cougars in a North Iowa Cedar League test on Friday, May 16. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-4.
The Panthers now have a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo East for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Tripoli will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-19.
