May 16, 2025: Aurora, IL 60505 Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 6-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, Streamwood upgrades its record to 3-20 on the year. The Sabres travel to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to play the Storm in a Upstate Eight game on Monday, May 19. The Storm enter the game with a record of 24-4. South Elgin won 10-0 in their recent league game against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)
The Tomcats now own a 1-22 record. They play next when they host Bartlett for a Upstate Eight game on Monday, May 19. Aurora East will face a Hawks squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 14-10.
