Illinois High School Softball - West Aurora bounces Aurora East
May 6, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506 The West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) softball routed the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 16-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Blackhawks now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a Upstate Eight outing on Thursday, May 8. West Aurora will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-14.
With the loss, Aurora East moves to 1-15 on the season. The Tomcats travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to encounter the Sentinels in a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 7. The Sentinels come into the outing with a record of 9-5. Westmont won 24-9 in their recent league outing against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL)
