The crowd at Friday's league bout between the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) and the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), observed York's softball team get by Lyons by a tally of 2-0.

The Dukes (19-10) will now prepare for their bout against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 17-12 record. In their last bout, IC Catholic Prep tipped Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 8-5, in a non-league bout.
