The York Dukes triumphed over the visiting Downers Grove South Mustangs softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Dukes meet the Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver challenge, on Saturday, May 24. York will attempt to upgrade on its 20-11 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 16-13 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL).

The Mustangs (11-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins enter the non-league challenge with a 24-6 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln-Way East was routed by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 7-6, in a league challenge.
