Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), 13-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Downers Grove North upgrades its record to 16-13 on the year. The Trojans host Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to play the Thunderbolts in a non-league game on Friday, May 23. The Thunderbolts enter the game with a record of 19-12. Andrew lost 7-5 in their recent league game against Lockport (Lockport, IL)

The Mustangs now own a 11-16 record. They play next when they travel to York for a non-league game on Friday, May 23. Downers Grove South will play a Dukes squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Dukes record now stands at 19-11.
