In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers softball team scored a tight 7-3 win over the Downers Grove South Mustangs.

The Hilltoppers (18-7) will now prepare for their match against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the West Suburban - Silver match with a 15-12 record. In their last match, Downers Grove North nipped Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 7-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 19.
