In Saturday's league game, the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights baseball team scored a close 12-11 win over the Burlington Seahorses.

The Green Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Cougars go into the Metro game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Mt. Mansfield was tipped by Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT), 7-0, in a league game.

Next, the Seahorses play the Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) in a Metro game, on Tuesday, May 19. Burlington will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Lakers go into the game with a 6-4 record after their 8-3 non-league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT).
