Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), 11-4 in a league test.

With the win, Hempfield Area upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Spartans travel to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, May 22.
