Maine High School Baseball - Monmouth Academy defeats Mountain Valley
May 19, 2025: Monmouth, ME 04259 The Monmouth Academy Mustangs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons to 3 in the Mustangs league win on Monday.
The Mustangs now hold a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Madison for a Class C South test on Wednesday, May 21. Monmouth Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 league win over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
With the defeat, Mountain Valley drops to 3-5 on the year. The Falcons host Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME) to play the Greyhounds in a Class C South test on Wednesday, May 21. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 7-1. Lisbon won 17-7 in their recent league test against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME)
