Illinois High School Baseball - Romeoville defeats Plainfield East
May 19, 2025: Romeoville, IL 60446 The Romeoville Spartans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Plainfield East Bengals to 5 in the Spartans league win on Monday.
The Spartans now hold a 18-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield East for a Southwest Prairie test on Tuesday, May 20. Romeoville will play a Bengals team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 7-23.
With the defeat, Plainfield East drops to 7-24 on the year. The Bengals host Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to play the Spartans in a Southwest Prairie test on Tuesday, May 20. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 17-13. Romeoville lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
