Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 14-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Alexandria-Monroe improves its record to 16-1 on the year. The Tigers host Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 11-10. Hamilton Heights lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN)

The Golden Bears now hold a 1-19 record. They play next when they host Randolph Southern for a Mid-Eastern game on Tuesday, May 20. Monroe Central will play a Rebels squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Union City (Union City, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 0-16.
