In Thursday's league challenge, the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), by a final score of 18-5.

With the win, The Covenant upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Eagles host Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to encounter the Bishops in a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge on Friday, May 3. The Bishops come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Virginia Episcopal School won 22-0 in their recent league challenge against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA)
