Massachusetts High School Baseball - Newburyport loses to Georgetown
May 20, 2024: Georgetown, MA 01833 The Georgetown Royals crushed the visiting Newburyport Clippers baseball team by a count of 6-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Royals now possess a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they host Manchester Essex for a CAL Baker bout on Tuesday, May 21. Georgetown will face a Hornets team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-12.
Next, the Clippers face the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) in a CAL Kinney bout, on Tuesday, May 21. Newburyport will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record.
