Massachusetts High School Baseball - Newburyport gets by Pentucket Regional
May 4, 2024: Newburyport, MA 01950 Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) and the visiting Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA), saw Newburyport's baseball squad beat Pentucket Regional by a margin of 3-1.
Coming up next, the Clippers play the Lynnfield Pioneers (Lynnfield, MA) in a CAL Kinney battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Newburyport will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Pioneers enter the battle with a 9-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Triton Regional (Byfield, MA).
The now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 7. Pentucket Regional will play a Hawks squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
