May 21, 2022: Jonesport, ME 04649 Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME), 12-2 in a league test.
With the win, Jonesport-Beals upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Royals travel to Machias (Machias, ME) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class D North test on Monday, May 23. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-2. Machias won 19-2 in their recent league test against Shead (Eastport, ME)
With the defeat, Shead falls to 0-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 25. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-8. Narraguagus lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)
