May 22, 2025: Huxley, IA 50124 The Ballard Bombers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Webster City Lynx to 0 in the Bombers non-league win on Thursday.
The Bombers now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Centerville for a non-league test on Saturday, May 24. Ballard will clash with a Big Reds/Redettes team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Pella (Pella, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Webster City drops to 2-1 on the year. The Lynx travel to Carlisle (Carlisle, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, May 24. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-0. Carlisle won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Creston (Creston, IA)
