Maine High School Softball - Monmouth Academy can't get by Madison
May 23, 2022: Monmouth, ME 04259 In Monday's league contest, the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) softball team held off the host Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Madison moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME) to play the Phoenix in a Class C South challenge on Wednesday, May 25. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Spruce Mountain lost 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Carrabec (North Anson, ME)
With the loss, Monmouth Academy falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME) to battle the Ramblers in a Class C South challenge on Tuesday, May 24. The Ramblers enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Winthrop lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME)
