Maine High School Softball - Winthrop can't get by Monmouth Academy
May 24, 2022: Winthrop, ME 04364 The Monmouth Academy Mustangs softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Winthrop Ramblers to 3 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Monmouth Academy moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME) to clash with the Raiders in a Class C South game on Wednesday, May 25. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 7-6. Oak Hill won 9-5 in their recent league game against Dirigo (Dixfield, ME)
In their next game, the Ramblers clash with the Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) in a Class C South game, on Friday, May 27. Winthrop will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Greyhounds come into the game with a 5-10 record after their 13-0 league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME).
