The Highland Park Giants lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Vernon Hills Cougars to 6 in the Giants non-league triumph on Friday.

The Giants now hold a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 26. Highland Park will clash with a Trevians squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Vernon Hills falls to 5-15 on the year.
