The Elwood Panthers softball squad (Elwood, IN), was edged 8-7 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN)

With the triumph, Tri-Central improves its record to 8-12 on the year. The Trojans travel to North Miami (Denver, IN) to face the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, May 26. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 15-8. North Miami lost 14-4 in their recent non-league contest against Living Water Homeschool (Indianapolis, IN)

The Panthers now hold a 7-18 record. They play next when they travel to Tipton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 27.
