Iowa High School Baseball - West Monona defeats Riverside
May 28, 2025: Oakland, IA 51560 In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting West Monona Spartans baseball team scored a nice 15-7 victory over the Riverside Bulldogs.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The enter the Western Valley game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute defeated Westwood (Sloan, IA), 10-0, in a league game.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) in a Western Iowa game, on Thursday, May 29. Riverside will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
